Bore Place

Historic house, a spacious converted barn and 19th century stables for green holidays in beautiful Kent countryside. Our three self catering properties are set on an organic dairy farm, in delightful organic gardens with acres of rolling Kent countryside to explore. Within easy reach of London and other South East England destinations for some great days out.
We offer green and eco-friendly holidays and are awarded Gold by Green Tourism.

Bore Place is based in 500 acres of beautiful, organic farmland, near Sevenoaks in Kent. It is home to the Commonwork Trust, a charity, and Commonwork Organic Farms Ltd. a working dairy farm, fully organic since 2000. We’ve been committed to sustainable living and working since 1976 when the charity founders moved here. We aim to manage our resources, both human and natural in ways that will enhance rather than deplete, for the benefit of all. On site and on the farm we have well established programmes in education, sustainability, global awareness, organic agriculture, horticulture, art, health and well-being. All are interconnected and support each other.

We are committed to: Contributing to the local economy; supporting local schools and young people; considering the impact of travel on the environment and communities.
